SOCIAL STUDIES : Robin Rose Owner & Florist of Fleurotica

When I first met Robin, she made me nervous.  The good nervous. Like the type of nervous you get when you look at a shining diamond in the light.  I met her at Dimes in New York while my girlfriend and I were going out to dinner.  Robin and I had only been admirers of one another via social media and had never actually met in person, as most of us do these days.  When I met her, she beamed like an otherworldly creature who fell to earth.  Her warmth and kindness pulled me in for a big hug that felt as though we'd had known each other for many years.  It comes as no surprise to me that Robin would find a deep connection with plants, specifically with flowers.  She may actually be one.  Her design eye and good taste aid in the pleasing quality of her pieces, while her playfulness and open composition make for a unique and modern take on a flower arrangement.  Everything you need to know about what to expect from Robin comes in the name she calls her company , Fleurotica.
Fluerotica Flowers is now open right off Bleecker Street, if you're around - go say hello and find something beautiful that will surly make you smile every time you walk through your door.
